The Microsoft campus in Redmond is pretty green.
Toyota Prius ferry you around from building to building and the cafe has bio-degradable cutlery as well as multiple receptacles for re-cycling bottles, cans, food etc.
Today I spotted this sign as I queued for my “iced black americano no whip!”.
They’re now giving away the used coffee grounds from the thousands of cups the make everyday to the green-fingered amongst us.
Wonder if I’ll get ’em through UK customs!

Just to be clear:
1. Americanos have never and should never come with “whip.” Where did you get this idea?
2. Starbucks has been giving away the coffee grounds for years. This is a recycled Starbucks sign.
XOXO,
Jason
I wondered if anyone would notice that! My preference is for Neros anyway….
I was at St Pancras yesterday, dropping the outlaw off at Eurostar to send her home…and the Starbucks there was giving away coffee grounds as well.
(Cue long explanation of coffee grounds to my 8 year old son & why we didn’t need any, even though they were FREE)
