I’d say the new ads Part 1 and Part 2 from Microsoft are working from the comments on TechCrunch.
Last week I clamoured for patience and the debate rages on!
One things for sure – the ads are being talked about – if they’d just rolled out some “Windows does blah blah blah!” copy, how impressed would have we been with that?
Advertising is getting more sophisticated – let’s embrace it!

Please! Advertising have to do with relevance. Just making a buzz isnt good enough for a brand. What does the MSFT say to the already pissed off consumer? « Hey! Bill Gates is funny »?
The whole campaign sounds like : « We can’t defend ourself on the basis of a real good product, so we’ll make jokes. That way, you will forget how bad Vista is…»
And as we can see, MSFT thinks it’s a bad campaign too : the took it off!
