Just a few snaps from our recent trip to Flic En Flac on the west coast of Mauritius…..
We had a great two weeks of sun, sea, sand and beaucoup de curry and Chinese food!
The beach was excellent, as were the day trips we took around the island on speed boats and catarmarans.
The people were very friendly too. Weekends were definitely party time underneath the Casuarina trees on the beach, noisy with drums and beer, and with much athleticism in the water.
With an abundance of seafood like the huge crab in this photo, the influences from China, India, France and Africa means any serious foodie will not be disappointed by what’s on offer in the half a dozen restaurants in the area.
The sunsets weren’t too shabby either.
I’ll be posting some more detailed stories soon, especially my underwater adventures with the Sea Urchin Diving Center based in Flic En Flac!
